Exploration and Production
The exploration and production process in the oil and gas industry begins with the exploration phase, where potential oil and gas fields are identified using geological surveys and seismic data analysis. Once a potential site is identified, drilling rigs are used to drill wells into the subsurface to access hydrocarbon reservoirs. After drilling, the well completion stage involves installing infrastructure for safe and efficient extraction of oil or gas. The production phase then commences, where hydrocarbons are extracted, processed, and sent to refineries.
